Run with the herd
Running site for those who are not gifted with the ability to run sub six minute miles and who run, but also like to enjoy the lighter side of the sport. Drunken Rhinos originated one spring during a 4 mile race where I felt like a gazelle. Upon watching the video of the race, I commented, "I might have felt like a gazelle, but I look more like a drunken rhino."
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle - when the sun comes up, you'd better be running.
